Community Announcement:
There are several dumpsters located at constructions sites around town that folks have been using for personal disposal of household items. These are privately owned dumpsters and no one is authorized to use them other than the contractor.
The City does have dumpsters available year round at the landfill located on Peach Tree Road for Citizens to use. The Landfill is open Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

Gates Drive Concession Stand
Construction is well underway at the Gates Drive Sports Complex as we build a new concession and restroom facility at the baseball fields! This new facility will have the capacity to serve more than double the citizens as the old facility! This is a much needed improvement to our park.
Wendy's recently opened in Thomasville and is located on Highway 43 adjacent to Big Mikes Steakhouse!
Half Baked is a locally owned bakery located in Downtown Thomasville serving breakfast, pastries, coffee, and ice cream, along with a daily lunch special and monthly dinners! They also host gatherings for special occasions such as wedding and baby showers!
The newly opened Zaxby's restaurant, located on Highway 43 across from Thomasville Grill, has now served thousands of customers!
