Another Thomasville Success Story!
On August 13th, 2008, the City of Thomasville unveiled its new Civic Center and hosted the 4th Annual “Rural” National Supplier Conference The conference was a huge success with 300 registered guests and 200 students and volunteers in attendance. The conference focused heavily on the specific types of contracts being bid at NASA and Redstone Arsenal and what companies must do to position their businesses to be qualified bidders. The Marshall Prime Contractor Supplier Council, along with a host of top tier federal contractors such as Boeing, Northrop Grumman, CSC, SAIC, Teledyne Brown Engineering and many others were present to meet with small businesses and assist them in understanding how to work with large prime contractors.
